In this side-story that takes place prior to the main Soul eater series, freshmen halberd Tsugumi Harudori and her friends Meme Tatane and Anya Hepburn take part in the NOT (Normally Overcome Target) class at Death Weapon Meister Academy, a school dedicated to training transforming weapons and the meisters who will wield them. Many NOT students aspire to join the elite EAT (Especially Advanced Talent) class, but it may take Tsugumi some time to gain more confidence and find a suitable weapon partner at this unorthodox school.
